Dubai, UAE - November 14, 2005 – Capitas Group demonstrated its commitment to strengthening and developing Islamic retail finance worldwide by sponsoring and presenting at the 2nd International Islamic Retail Banking Conference which was held in Dubai, UAE on November 14-15, 2005. Both Naveed Siddiqui, President and CEO and Farrukh Siddiqui, COO, participated in a panel focusing on the US and Canadian Retail Islamic Finance Markets. The session was chaired by Capitas Group CEO, Naveed Siddiqui, while Capitas Group COO Farrukh Siddiqui gave a presentation entitled, “The North American Consumer Market: Wealthy, Committed and Underserved”. The presentation focused on the nascent market for retail Islamic finance products in the United States and surveyed the competitive landscape while highlighting the qualities needed in successful efforts to penetrate this growing market segment.
